Please be informed that the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union’s Annual Meeting will take place at the PSFCU Operations Center, 9 Law Dr., Fairfield, NJ 07004 on May 18, 2024 at 5 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

The Presidential Couple Visits the New York Branch of PSFCU at 140 Greenpoint Avenue

On September 21, 2023, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, together with First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda, visited the branch of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union at 140 Greenpoint Avenue in Brooklyn.

The presidential couple's visit was connected with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Pilsudski Institute and the anniversary exhibition presented at the PSFCU branch. President Andrzej Duda expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the Pilsudski Institute and our Credit Union, stressing the importance of jointly building a strong Polish community.

On Sunday, September 17, during a meeting with the Polish community at Christ the King High School in the Queens borough of New York City, President Andrzej Duda presented awards for special achievements in building up the Polish-American community. Its recipients included Malgorzata Gradzki and Mariusz Sniarowski from the Board of Directors of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union.

These honorable meetings are an expression of respect and recognition. They show that the work of our Credit Union, the support of Polish culture, charitable activities and care for values are recognized and appreciated by the President, the Republic of Poland and the First Lady.

This year's visit to the 140 Greenpoint Avenue branch of PSFCU in New York was not the first meeting with the President at this location. President Duda visited the branch in 2015, a month after taking office, and met with PSFCU employees. The First Lady visited the PSFCU branch at 100 McGuinness Boulavard in 2016 and in 2021.

Warsaw Uprising Flag over Greenpoint

For the eighth time, in front of its headquarters on McGuinness Avenue in New York, the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union organized a ceremony to raise the flag of Polish Resistance during World War II.

Presidential internship under the Patronage of Poland's President Andrzej Duda

Between May 25th and June 3rd, a group of students from the United States completed a summer internship in Poland. The internship was organized by the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland in partnership with the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union.

Another Record Set in the 2023 PSFCU Scholarship Program

This year's scholarship program of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union saw scholarships awarded to a record number of 512 young members of the Credit Union, with a total value of $550,000. In this edition of the PSFCU scholarship program, 324 high-school graduates and 188 college students were awarded.

PSFCU Board of Directors Elects Its Executive Committee

In accordance with PSFCU Bylaws, the Board of Directors met on Wednesday, May 24 in order to elect the Board's Executive Committee.

Annual Meeting of the PSFCU

The Annual Meeting of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union was held at the Polish Museum of America in Chicago on Saturday, May 20, 2023. The meeting was attended by 122 persons, including 107 PSFCU account owners, 5 joint account owners and 10 guests.

2023 Piggy Bank Deposit Promotion Drawing Official Rules

Get ready for the PSFCU Minor Members' Piggy Bank Deposit promotion, starting from April 15, 2023, to June 5, 2023. This promotion is open to all minor members, and fifty lucky winners will be selected randomly from eligible Piggy Bank Deposits. Each Piggy Bank is a poster board with eight 25 cent coins, totaling $2. The prizes will be drawn after June 10, 2023, and the official rules can be found on the PSFCU website.
